We just got a new microwave oven. Its hard to call it a 'micro'wave with something this big. The bottle next to it is a normal 2 litre drink bottle.

I won a solar powered DAB radio

Today I received my solar powered DAB radio. It was a prize I won from @GetUnifi on Twitter. It's great as I can charge its batteries by plugging it in on just by sticking it in the sunlight :-)
I've had a DAB radio for a few years now since my wife bought me one for my birthday. I listen to Kerrang while cooking or doing housework.

Got a freebie from Angel Delight on Facebook. It is make it yourself ice cream. It is brand new and not yet in shops.  They are also sending their cream van all over the country this month to get people to sample it.

Computers Aren't What They Should Be

One of the biggest criticisms in the past about technology and computers in particular was that they were difficult to understand and awkward to use. Well, now computers and the internet are not just for geeks one of the most popular sites is twitter. Twitter is, of course, well known for limiting messages to 140 characters. But people find it acceptable to type in crzy lkng abrvtns 2 fit in thr whl  msg... how is this easier to understand than the perceived complexity of, say, pressing control and S to save a document.
